One of the ways you can help Smiling Hearts Association is through sponsoring a Cambodian teacher who will assist our volunteer English instructors. Students learning English greatly benefit from the translation that a Khmer speaking teacher can provide. However, Smiling Hearts Association presently has no budget with which to pay these volunteers, so your monthly donation of $100 makes a tremendous difference in their lives. This money would support one teacher for a month.
Many of our volunteer Cambodian teachers work other jobs and teach the children at Smiling Hearts out of the goodness of their hearts. Sponsoring a Cambodian teacher directly impacts the lives of Cambodian children for which SHAC provides this vital service.
